Hey guys, as some of you know I went to New York a few weekends ago! It was a trip that my mom and I took for my grad present. I had Friday and Monday off of school for Remembrance Day (Veterans Day in the States) so we left on Thursday morning and had three full days in the big city and left on Monday. We had some super busy days, trying to fit in as much as possible. It was so much fun and I don’t think that I can pick favourite part because it was all my favourite. I also think I was humming Welcome to New York by Taylor Swift the whole trip! Continue reading
We recently got our Christmas family photos done by Jeannine from Custom Photo, and they were just too cute to not share! If you live in the Fraser Valley then you might be familiar with Old Clayburn Village… its seriously the cutest place ever! If feels like a little piece of England with the old houses and the cute brick church and candy store (it’s still running and they film movies there all the time!!) and we got our family pictures taken there this year!
Hello everyone!! If you have been following for a while or have ever met me, you know that I maaaay be a little bit of a shopaholic 😉 I LOVE designer items and am drawn to the name brands but recently I have come to a realization that you can totally find similar items with other name brands for WAY cheaper! Here are a few of my fav dupes:
I am not sure if you all noticed this but this last May my dad and I went on a daddy daughter date to get tattoos! It is definatly a different daddy daughter experience than you would normally expect. I wanted to share my experience with you and why I decided to get a tattoo.
I was reading one of my favourite bloggers, Amber Fillerup, and I love this “12 Things” series that she does on her blog! I love posting about my favourite outfit or new products I have been loving from Sephora, but sometimes it’s nice to take a break and sit down a bit more of a “chatty” post so that you get to know me better! hahaha
I hope you guys have a wonderful week, I’m sssoo excited for black friday next week! (even though I’m not American I still get super excited when Black Friday comes!) Yay for sales!!
Hey guys!! So many people give up on fitness or eating healthy during these colder, rainier (and Christmas) months but I love working out at this time of year! Here are a few tips that I have to stay in shape this fall/winter season 🙂
I can not create beach waves in my hair for the life of me without it being 2-3 day curls. I just recently tried a new technique that ended up working for me, yay! I am pretty sure that I am not the only one that has this struggle so I thought I would share it with you guys who I can definatly relate with. I hope that you are able to try this out and it works for you! Continue reading
As some of you may know, I play on my high school’s senior girl’s volleyball team this year. Sometimes, (usually! haha) if I am in a rush I will throw my air up in a ponytail, but if I have more time to get ready for a game or a tournament, this is my go-to hairstyle! I first saw Nikki Phillippi have this hairstyle on her Instagram, and I lovvve how it turned out! The dutch braids keep my hair pulled up and out of my face when I am running around, and it is also a super cute hairstyle for school if you are going quickly from an early morning workout to classes 🙂
I hope you all have a lovely long weekend! (No school for us tomorrow and Monday!! Yay!!!)
P.S thank you to Jeannine from Custom Concepts Photography for the amazing pictures! We love you!
