Hey Guys! I hope you guys are having a fabulous week/weekend. This weekend I am actually at a training camp weekend for summer camp as a co-counsellor! I have been a part of BasicBloggerss for just over 2 years trying to post once a week. I know in these 2 years there have been weeks when I don’t know what to write about. I am pretty sure I am not the only blogger that struggles with this. Every time I have a brain block I look on other blogs who have lists of what I can do. I thought I would make it that much easier for you so instead of searching all over the big wide web you can just come here! I hope this helps you guys when you are in a slump.

This past weekend was a long weekend in Canada because of Victoria Day, so my family went camping in Birch Bay. We have a membership at Beachwood Resort, so we take our trailer there every summer & some long weekends. Our favourite thing to do there is bike around town, get ice-cream and explore so here are some pictures!
Today was our first day in Bangkok. We were able to tour around the city and learn a bit about Buddhism at the temples that we visited.
Today was another chill day to get used to the 40+ degree weather. In the morning we went to church with some of the members of another team from Abbotsford. They had there normal church service and we were able to share for songs, there service is so different than ours and it was so cool to experience. After that we walked back before we got on a flight to Chang Mai. I ate a worm larvae! We got back, drove to the airport and were off to the Agape Home.
Namaste! I got back from Nepal last week and aside from hiking to Mount Everest base-camp, we stayed in the capital, Kathmandu, for a few days. It was super busy in the city and the road rules are SO different than here in Abbotsford! The food however was amazing <3 Here are a few of the places we ate at:
One of the highlights of our previous trip to Maui was going on a whale watching tour. I know it sounds super touristy, but believe me, seeing the whales so close is INCREDIBLE!! They are such massive yet graceful creatures, and everybody gets really excited when a whale breaches or shows it’s tail. So this trip, we decided that a tour to see these animals up-close was on our bucket list. We went with the Pride of Maui tours, and we had a fab time! The tour also took us snorkelling into Molokini Crater, where we could see 150 feet down! It was so amazing, because while we were snorkelling, we could hear the whales underwater that we had seen just a few minutes before!
Picking out what swimsuit to wear on this trip was a whole other situation 😉 I have been wearing these high waisted bottoms from Old Navy (similar ones here) a lot of the trip, just because I know that they are well fitted so I dont have to worry about them while I am snorkelling or surfing. I have also been wearing this white scalloped halter top from Target a lot, however I have to make sure I get all the sand out of it before I get out of the water otherwise it starts collecting in some inconvenient places haha!
P.S… these are all pictures I took with my Nikon camera. I use the D3300 with a 18-140mm lens.
Hey guys! Last year around this time I did a post about 3 hairstyles for the airport because lots of people are traveling for Spring Break and it’s not fun to have headaches from tight ponytails when you are trying to sleep on the plane. All of these hairstyles are inspired by pictures I have seen on Pinterest. They are pretty simple and super comfy. Oh and if you didn’t know, my birthday is in 4 days!!
Hey guys! After months of running hills and training, I am leaving for Nepal tomorrow at midnight and then our final destination is to hike up to Mt. Everest base camp (Can you believe it?! My family is crazy). I will be posting on Snapchat and Insta stories when I can get wifi, and I will take lots of pictures and have a blog post about my trip when we get back 😉
