A few weeks ago we celebrated Thanksgiving (in Canada we celebrate it at the beginning of October) and I really love pumpkin pie, but I wanted to add a bit of a healthier twist on it! I could totally pass on all the turkey and gravy and mashed potatoes, and skip right into the dessert 🙂 I always love bringing a dessert to our family dinner, so this year I made these mini pumpkin pies, and they were such a hit! They are a cross between a cheesecake and a pumpkin pie, and since those are my two favourite desserts, I was having high hopes for this dessert haha. Pumpkin is also really high in Vitamin A, which is a really good antioxidant and helps with maintaining clear skin!! (so there is no excuse to skip the pumpkin pie this year;)
ahh I can’t believe that September has come and gone! Since it is the start of a new season, I have been trying so many many new products and I can’t wait to share them with you guys!!

I found this recipe while on Pinterest looking at dairy-free recipes (I am dairy free for my skin & stomach) and this screamed fall to me so I had to make it!! 😉 I am so not a baker! But recently, I have been loving making vegan recipes (I almost used tablespoons instead of teaspoons HA). Hey guys! I am not vegan but I have been loving trying different vegan recipes lately! And I admit, watching What the Health on Netflix did play a little role in that. My mom saw this recipe on Facebook and since I love it, we keep making it (just don’t tell my dad it’s made with beans LOL).
I wanted to share with you this super quick granola recipe that is not only super yummy, but also really healthy! It has hardly any oil, and is full of healthy nuts that will keep you full for a long time. If I am running out the door and don’t have time to make oats or a smoothie, I will grab some granola, pour a splash of almond milk, and toss on a few berries! Most granolas you buy from the store contain a lot of sugar and oil (not to mention that they are $16 for a small bag that is 50% air!) and will give you your omega 3’s for glowing skin!!
