After a long day I hop into my PJs then brush my teeth, take my makeup off, and start washing my face. For those of us who werent blessed with perfect skin, we might have a longer night time routine… Firstly I use my Proactive+ Skin Smoothing Exfoliater. Next I pat my face dry and use the Pore Targeting Solution. When thats dry, step number 3 is rubbing in the Complexion Perfecting Hydrator and sometimes I use a Skin Purifying Mask to dry out any pimples. If you get any bumps or pimples on your chest or back I would reccomend using pure coconut oil, rubbing it in and leaving it overnight. But remember that only washing your face isnt going to take away your acne. You have to eat clean, exercise and use the right skin products. The weather has been off and on lately, raining some days and sunny others. And to add to that, everyone has colds too-the whole coughing, runny nose jam so I have been making sure to drink plenty of water. My go-to-drink is a lemon detox water and it is not only very good for you, it get rid of toxins in your body. Detoxification is the removal of toxins from within a living organism. I like to think that I am keeping myself alive&well by drinking this beverage (its true!). The results of this detox drink have shown better digestion in the body, and it detoxifies the liver. It also helps repair the skin and improves the overall health and well-being. I started drinking lemon detox water after I watched a Blogilates YouTube video. Cassey Ho is my inspiration and I look up to her for fitness and health. She posted a video about Detoxifying yourself and I though I would try it! Here is what I put in my detox water. For 20 ounces of water I use:
a slice of lemon
2 slices of orange
3 slices of cucumber
and 4 mint leaves
Feel free to change it up for your preferation. sometimes the mint gets a little strong so i take some leaves out. I would say I keep the same cup and fruit for about 3 cups of water and then it just looses its flavour. Detox water is a great way to stay healthy&replenished, and is also super easy and affordable. So make sure you try it!
