Hi guys!!

I am so excited for today’s post, because I am excited to share with you two of my favourite things!: fashion and fitness!! 🙂 (If you haven’t read my post about being a model for Vancouver Fashion Week you can read about it here) But since fashion week is right around the corner, I thought I would share my workout routine I did to get ready for fashion week and what I did while I was in Vancouver modelling. I am so sad to miss this season of FW, but I am going on a missions trip with my school to Thailand and Cambodia!! ahhh we leave a week from today and I am super excited!

Just a little disclaimer: I am not a personal trainer!!! I know I don’t have perfect form or technique, but these are just some of my favourite moves for toning my abs and my legs. Haha I know I look kinda ridiculous when I work out, but I’m just a tall lanky person trying to be fit lol!!!

Stretch – this is so important to do before AND after you workout! It helps loosen up your muscles to prevent injury, and also stretching helps lengthen your muscles so they don’t get too bulky 😉

Cardio – I do about 30 minutes of cardio before I workout, and I try and switch it up every time. I like doing the stair master, or going on a run, or walking hills. I also love skipping for 10 minutes between doing abs and legs just to get my heart rate up again.

ABS: (50 reps each)

Double leg lifts
Reach through crunches
Russian twists
Oblique crunches (25 each side)
Ankle reaches
Reversed crunches
Plank (1 minute)

LEGS: *I like to use a resistance band to make it more difficult, but it’s totally optional*

Squats with side leg lift (25 each side)
Jump squats
Back kicks (25 each side)
Fire hydrants (25 each side)
Isolated lunges (25 each side)
