Today I though that I would share some super simple donut recipes that were inspired by Lauren Elizabeth on youtube. They only take 20-30 minutes and are super cute especially for valentines day coming up this next week. I made 2 different types of donuts, coffee and vanilla. They not only look good for pictures but they taste amazing. I hope that you like these recipes and try them out for yourself!
Vanilla Donuts
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 egg
1/3 cup and 1 1/2 tbsp milk
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F an spray your donut pan, set aside.
- In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a smaller bowl mix together the rest of the ingredients.
- Fold in the wet ingredients to the dry ones and do not over mix, only intel there are no more flour bits.
- Spoon or pipe the batter into the the donut pans.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes.
- Let them cool and ice them!

Coffee Donuts
Ingredient:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1-2 tsp ground coffee
1/2 cup full-fat sour cream
2 1/2 tbsp butter
1 egg, room temperature
Instructions:
- preheat the oven to 350°F and spray the donut pans and set aside.
- In a large bowl mix together the flour, brown sugar, salt, and baking soda.
- In a smaller bowl mix together the sour cream, butter, and egg.
- Fold the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients making sure not to over mix.
- Spoon or pipe the batter into the donut pans.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes.
