Hey guys!!
haha if you’re reading this post and wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and your winter consists temperatures above positive degrees, then I am SO jealous of you right now!! We have just finished a nasty ice storm here in the Lower Mainland, and I get so excited when my weather app tells me the temperature is going to be in the positive degrees! I haaaate being cold, so I have a closet full of giant parkas and jackets that I basically live in until May comes around!
Rebecca XOXO
I originally saw my friend Sarah wear this jacket in grey, and I am so obsessed with the giant fur hood! There is something so cute about a jacket with a big, fluffy hood when its snowing! Also, I got this jacket for a super good price at Hudson’s Bay, and I believe the sale is still going on 🙂 Just a little warning, I am typically a size small in most tops, but when it comes to jackets I order a medium just because I do have broader shoulders, so if you are debating between two sizes, go for the bigger one with this coat.
I have had this coat for AGES and it is my favourite for super chilly mornings, when the weather decides to take a break from raining 🙂 I love a good, classic wool coat for a Saturday afternoon lunch with my mum, paired with a cute black dress and boots (I have been obsessed with these ones from Lemon Jelly!) or I’ll wear this coat when I want to dress up a casual outfit with jeans and a sweater!
This is a must for every girl who lives on the west coast!! It rains almost non-stop from about mid-October to May, so having a good, go-to rain jacket is an essential! I loveee this one from Nordstrom – the little striped detailing in the sleeves adds a really cute touch when you wear the sleeves rolled up.
Have a lovely week!
