Hello everybody!
I have been going to my nana’s pool every single day after school because it has been such lovely weather in Vancouver recently, and it is such a treat to spend a few hours after school to just lounge by the pool 🙂 Since I can now drive by myself, I usually have a few errands to run or have plans in the evening after I am at the pool, and I feel so un-put-together if my hair is a mess haha! Today I wanted to share a few products I love to use after I am at the pool to tame my mane and give my hair a little boost and not crazy from all that chlorine.
enjoy!

Bumble and Bumble Blow Dry Spray
I got this for my birthday last year, and this product is my hands-down fav to get beach waves. It gives my hair so much texture and body. I just do a light mist on my damp roots, and then scrunch my hair a few times to work the product into my hair to get the desired curls I want. Plus, this has the most amazing smell! It smells like a white sand beach somewhere in Bora Bora!
Garnier Fructis Style Texture Tease
This is a good drugstore dupe for the Bumble and Bumble spray. It gives my hair a nice beachy texture and I like to spray this product in the ends and roots, and then scratch my hair just like I do with the B&B spray.
TRESemme Volumizing dry shampoo
Nothing can replace a shower after you go to the pool, but this dry shampoo is the next best thing to clean up your roots and add tons of volume! I love to add a quick little spray of this product if my hair is needing a little clean and I can’t wash my hair properly right away.
VERB Sea Spray
I have been using this spray so much recently! My friend, Sarah Therese gave this to me a few months ago, and like the Bumble and Bumble spray, this has a beach smell, and the spray adds texture and wave to any crazy post-pool hair. This product works best in slightly damp hair, and is made with Hydrolyzed Quinoa Protein, which naturally conditions hair.
Bath and Body Works Exotic coconut spray
Am I the only one that gets a headache if the smell of chlorine lingers in my hair too long? I can’t stand it!! I brought this coconut spray with me when I went to Hawaii a few weeks ago, and now whenever I spray it in my hair to combat the chlorine, it brings me back to Maui!! (They no longer carry the Exotic Coconut line, but here, here and here are a few of my other favourite summer scents!
