I think this year I am more eager than ever for spring to arrive! It has been a looong, cold winter and I am ready to see the sunshine and blossoming flowers. As much as I love bundling up in cozy sweaters and blanket scarves, I have been wearing that since October and I’m ready for a change 🙂
I have rounded up some of my favourite styles for this spring that I have seen other bloggers wear, from cute chambray tops to (my favourite!) off the shoulder dresses. Hopefully all this dressing for spring will summon the warmer weather and that you will get some inspiration for your spring wardrobe!

Oh. My. These shoes are everything. With a cute little french pedicure peeking out and a fresh pair of white distressed skinny jeans, you have the perfect brunch outfit for spring! I found these ones from Forever 21, and they also come in several other colours (including a lovely white colour… although I would probably get those dirty even before I step outside!)
I frequently make fun of my mum, because she is always wearing a striped sweater or comes home with a new striped dress. But as I have been diving deeper into my personal style, I have noticed that the striped population in my closet has been steadily increasing! One of my favourite bloggers, Amber Fillerup, is wearing an adorable red and white striped dress in one of her recent blog posts.
I like to think of chambray as denim’s little sister. It is a huggeee trend this spring, and there are so many pretty chambray tops and dresses that I want to buy this season! Chambray literally goes with everything – from white jeans to patterns, and when you pair it with a necklace and some ballet flats, you have the perfect spring look. (Another blogger who has the cutest style, Aspyn Ovard, is wearing a cute chambray off-the shoulder dress). Some of my favourite chambray pieces: 1, 2, 3
Gingham is something I will defiantly be wearing this season. Its such a classic, playful pattern that is a summer and spring staple, and is a trend that never really disappears. Taylor Swift has been seen wearing gingham minidresses and blouses, which makes sense cause it’s the perfect pattern to match her girly style. Some cute gingham pieces: 1, (this one is similar to what Taylor Swift was wearing 2) , 3,
Lace detailing and trimming has been huge recently, adding a girly touch to a dress or top. I have a white top with lace sleevesa nd I find myself reaching for it all the time because it elevates any outfit and looks so cute with a little skirt or under a sleeveless dress. Lace pieces I love: 1, 2, 3 Photo: Lace and Lashes
I hope you have enjoyed reading about some of my favourite spring trends. At the moment I am restricting myself from doing any huge shopping adventures or splurging too much on new spring pieces, but of course I love to stay up to date on what people are wearing this season.
Have a lovely weekend!
