Guys this is my 100th post! I am so blessed to have this blog and all you readers thank you so much for making this possible!
These past few weeks I have been going non-stop getting my stuff together for my trip to Thailand, school, dance, and blogging. Lately the theme has been travel on our blog so I thought that I would look up some really good snacks this past week that are good for traveling. My mom and I went on to the blog A Beautiful Mess(a blog that has really inspired Marley, Rebecca, and I) and found a recipe for sweet and salty banana chips that looked delicious so we tried them out and now want to share them with you! These may not be the best snacks if you are traveling outside the country where fruit is not permitted but i still hope you can enjoy this recipe!
What you need:
2 under ripe bananas
1/4 cup brown sugar
coarse sea salt
How to make them:
First you want to cut the bananas making sure not to cut them to thick or else they will be hard to eat in chip form. Next take the slices and coat them in some brown sugar, don’t let any clumps of sugar sneak up on your bananas though. Once you coat the banana slices lay them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and a little bit of olive oil. When they are all on the sheet sprinkle the salt and pepper on top. After they are all ready place them in the oven at 400°F for 16-20 minutes. Make sure that you you are watching your banana chips while they are in the oven because they can burn easily. The should look crispy on the edge and soft in the middle when they are done. Take them out of the oven and enjoy! These are the best when they are fresh and warm!
Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoy this and try it out for yourself. I can’t wait to share all my adventures once I get home from Thailand. xoxo Vienna
