Hello Everybody!

When the weather cools down, I make sure to stock up on lots of cozy teas! I much rather drink a cup of warm tea in the morning, than a cup of coffee. Tea is full of so many health benefits, and the options of flavours are literally endless! There has been so much research done on the benefits of tea, and here are some of my favourite reasons why to drink tea every morning:

  • Peppermint tea can soothe a sore throat in the Winter
  • Herbal teas can help with the digestive system
  • Some types of teas have been shown to help boost the immune system
  • Unlike many beverages, most teas don’t ruin your teeth. In fact, tea has been shown to strengthen your teeth and help keep your smile bright.
  • Antioxidant that cleanses out your body

Green tea especially has a lot of internal and external benefits, so I try and drink at least 1 cup of green tea every day! Here are some of my other favourite teas that I have been reaching for a ton this winter.

Davids Tea: Throat Rescue tea

This tea has a wonderful sweet aftertaste with the licorice root that is so soothing if you have a bit of a cold or a sore throat. And because if the aftertaste, so it does not require any added sweeter.

Davids Tea: Lemon Pound Cake tea

OHH MY this tea is SO good!! It’s by far my favourite tea I have ever tried. It tastes just like lemon cake, and it is perfect just on it’s own without any added sweeter. When I bought this tea for my mum for Mother’s day last year, we both fell in love with it, and savoured every cup we had!

Davids Tea: Snow Day tea

This past weather in Vancouver has been the coldest it has been in 30 years, so having this snow-themed tea to sip while it was snowing outside was defiantly an essential. Whenever I smell it, it reminds me of our family Christmas trip to Silverstar Ski Resort!

I hope you all have enjoyed this little post about my recent tea obsessions! What kind of drink is your cup of tea? We would love to know!!

XO

Rebecca
