Hello all! How is it possible that summer is half over 🙁 I was watching Blogilates #cheapcleaneats video when I realized that I wanted to try the recipe out and share it with you!
Firstly, you will need:
- kiwis
- bananas
- juice
- frozen berries
- chia seeds
- jars
- and small cookie cutters
*THE NIGHT BEFORE make a big bowl of chia seed pudding
- 2 cups coconut milk (or almond milk), 2 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tsp honey and mix! If you want only to make chia seed pudding my recipe is here 🙂
The first step is to cut thin pieces of kiwi and place them in your jar. Next, put in the chia seed pudding.
To make the smoothie: blend 1 cup of frozen berries (I used blueberries, raspberries and blackberries) with 1/2 cup of fruit juice (I used peach) and 1 banana.
Next cut thin pieces of banana or whatever fruit you want to use as art. Carefully place them in your jar with a coffee stick of skewer and press them into the jar so they don’t slide down. NOTE: If your pieces are too thick , they will be too heavy and fall off.
