I love the holidays, don’t you? Its the time where everyone comes over bringing the most delicious desserts and you can stuff your face. There are definitely certain treats that get me more excited than others. Today I want to share with you the recipes to my all time favourite christmas snacks. These are all sweet treats since the holidays are all about candy and chocolate which is fine with me. I hope that you enjoy these recipes and try them out for yourself.
What you will need(no exact measurements):
-milk chocolate melts
-white chocolate melts
Step one: Take two pots. Fill one with water and put it on the stove with a bowl on top, no water should go into the bowl. Fill the bowl with either type of chocolate. Heat until chocolate is melted. While this is melting start melting the other type of chocolate the same way. MAKE SURE TO MIX THE CHOCOLATE.
Step two: Stick the candy canes in a freezer bag and crush them with a hammer until the are in little pieces.
Step three: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and pour the two chocolates on the sheet swirling them together. Sprinkle the bits of candy cane evenly over the melted chocolate.
Step four: put the pan into the fridge or freezer to cool until it is hardened. Take it out, break it up into smaller pieces and serve!
What you need:
-1 lb butter
-2 cups sugar
-2 tablespoons light corn syrup
-6 tbsp water
-1 cup chopped almonds
-11.5 oz chocolate melts
Step one: In a pot melt the butter. When it is melted add the sugar, corn syrup and water for about 15-20 min (when it reaches 290°). Make sure that you are frequently stirring the mixture.
Step two: Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in half of the chopped up almonds. pour mixture into a greases or parchment lined pan. Let it cool.
Step three: While it is cooling melt the chocolate with the technique from the peppermint bark. When that is fully melted pour it evenly over the almond mixture.
Step four: Sprinkle the rest of the almonds on top and let it cool. When the chocolate is hard brake apart and enjoy!

-whipped cream(cream box not can)
-baby chocolate chips(optional)
Step one: Cut the tips of the strawberries off to the size you want for the santa hats.
Step two: Combine whipped cream, vanilla, and sugar to make whipping cream. If you need a recipe for this click here. Make sure that it is firm so that we can put the cut strawberry hats on top.
Step three: Put the whipping cream in a frosting bag if you have one and pipe onto the lower half a big swirl. Place the small cut piece of strawberry on top of the whipping cream and squeeze a small dollop of whipping cream on the very tip.
Step four: If you got the baby chocolate chips stick two of them into the larger swirl of whipping cream to make two eyes.
Step five: Serve and enjoy!
