In fashion lately navy blue has been the big colour. I love the way that it can look and be styled if you use it right. I have sometimes found it hard to get it to match the rest of my outfit or the rest of my outfit to match the navy piece. Today I wanted to share three different navy pieces that I have put into outfits to style them.
The First Outfit that I put together is great to where to school or around the house. I love how it is simple and easy to put together! The pieces I used for this outfit are:
Shirt: Brandy Melville
Pants: Abercrombie and Fitch
Then I just curled my hair to give it some texture and that is all for that outfit. It is such a comfy look and you can always trade the flannel for a nice cardigan or just take the flannel off if it is warmer outside.
The second outfit that I put together is more of a fancy outfit. I would probably save this for a more special occasion. I love it how it is flowy and simple so you can play it up if you want. One warning for this type of look is the black and the blue together. Mixing them can be very dangerous and you don’t want to put the colours to close to each other. I made sure that I didn’t by using black in the hat and shoes but not using it in a jacket or a belt. This is because the colours are so close together that they offset each other. What I wore:
Hat: unknown (but I have a similar one from Target)
Dress: Urban Outfitters
The third outfit I made for a night out on the town. It is not totally casual but comfy enough to walk around in during the night, at least for a little bit in those heels. I would defiantly call it more of a daring look because of the fact that I mixed black and navy together. I was able to do that because in the shorts I found black thread in it which makes it ok to mix the colours. There were also specks of white in the shorts, which tied the look together. What I wore:
Shirt: Forever XXI
Shorts Forever XXI
