Blueberry Crumble

Ok people, I just found this amazing recipe a while ago that I am in love with. Marley and her family came over to visit my family and they brought over this amazing blueberry dessert. I could eat it all day, every day, it was so good. And I have to say that there are not many desserts that I would eat all day. These desserts would include ice cream, bienenstich and this new dessert. The best part is that it was a blueberry dessert and it is blueberry season. The dessert is originally called Blueberry Kuchen but I liked the name Blueberry Crumble just a bit better.

What you need:

1 cup flour

1/8 tsp salt

2 Tbsp sugar

½ cup butter

1 Tbsp white vinegar

3 cups blueberries (frozen)

2 Tbsp flour

2/3 cup sugar

1/8 tsp cinnamon

2 cups blueberries (fresh)

Mix the first three ingredients together in a bowl.

Cut in the butter and mix together until the mixture crumbles.

Sprinkle the white vinegar on top.

Press into the bottom of a pan (single recipe use 9” pan). Make sure that the mixture goes up the side of the pan like a crust.

Pour 3 cups of frozen blueberries into the pan.

Mix 2 Tbsp of flour, 2/3 cup of sugar, and 1/8 cinnamon together and sprinkle it on top of the berries.

Bake it at 400°f for 50-60 minutes or until crust is brown.

Remove from oven and pour 2 cups of fresh blueberries on right away.

Cool and serve.

This serves 6-8 people and is sooooo good!

Some people recommend eating it with ice cream or whipped cream.

(When Marley’s mom doubled the recipe, she made it in a 10×15″ pan.)
