I’m still debating if I should call this the worst mistake of my life… Triangl bikinis are really “in” right now so I got one and I believe my story is different than most.
A few months ago my friends and I were talking about getting Triangl bikinis. We looked online and stalked them on instagram until we decided which ones to order. I had my eye set on Peach Soda but my sister wanted that one so I got Paradise Palms. When the bathing suits arrived we were super excited and opened them up right away! We tried them on, took pictures and swam in our pool. Over the next few days I noticed that the netting on my top was fraying and I didn’t know what to do. My mom contacted Triangl for me and they said they would send me a brand new one if I sent them pictures for proof and they would even pay for the return shipping!
Since we were ordering a new top, I decided to go with a smaller size (xs) because my small size was falling off me whenever I jumped into the pool. Now I realize that was a bad idea because when it came it was too small. They really need a xs and a half!! In the meantime we are going to send it back again 🙁 and get the same size top I had before. Triangl is even letting me exchange my swimsuit for another style without netting!
Overall, Triangl has had great customer service and they have been very kind to us. The down side is that they are so expensive and I do not reccommend the netted bathing suits. Another thing we figured out early on is that these are not meant for jumping into pools or cliff diving because they will fall down. Triangl swimsuits are great for tanning though! Also if you are considering one of these suits REMEMBER TO RINSE THEM OUT! I did not read this instruction until later and my bathing suit started fraying. I had only worn it twice and it was already wearing out.
We also made the mistake of shipping it to our door and had to pay an extra $40 for shipping fees, taxes and duty!!! Now my $89 (USD) bikini ended up costing me $181 (CDN) with all the fees and exchange. One tip, is if you live near the US border, you can have it shipped there and you may save the taxes and duty, so it comes to about $141 (CDN).These are very expensive swimsuits, so if you are wanting one remember to read the instructions before hand, always rinse them out after swimming, avoid the netted style and ship to the USA if you can. Good luck! 😉
