Recently I have been getting lots of compliments on the Lokai bracelet that I got for my birthday a couple of months ago. They are fun, trendy and I love their background history. Lokai bracelets are clear, sort of rubbery and have one black bead and one white bead. This organization also donates 10% of net profits to various charities.
I think that the Lokai website sums it up best:
“The black bead holds mud from the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, signifying the difficult moments you experience throughout life. Even through life’s lowests moments, stay hopeful.”
“The white bead carries water from Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth, this bead represents life’s highest moments. It’s those times when you’re feeling on top of the world, that it’s most important to stay humble.”
I was reading about the founder’s story and here’s what he said “I brought these two key elements together because life is full of cycles. The rest of the beads are clear, because we all have our own story of balance to tell.”
These bracelets have really made an impact in my life reminding me to stay hopeful&humble. Even a small accesory can help remind me to keep positive and happy. Lokai bracelets are $18US and about $25CA. They are a great gift for friends or family or something fun to buy yourself.
Also a note: I got a size small which is 7 inches around and it fits good wtih some room left still.
